Access theRole detailsThe Pharmacy Department at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Pharmacist Intern to join their team on a temporary basis.How to apply and for mandatory requirements regarding this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityUnder the supervision of a registered pharmacist, participate in the provision of pharmacy services within the MHHS. The experience, skills and understanding of hospital pharmacy practice gained by the graduate will meet requirements for registration as a pharmacist at the end of the required training period.About the TeamOur Pharmacy Service is based at the Mackay Base Hospital and provides patient centred pharmacy services, seven days a week. Our pharmacy provides medication on hospital prescriptions for use while patients are in hospital.Visit: .About our Hospital and Health Servicehas 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.
