About the role:
Provide a high-quality pharmacist service to staff, patients and carers of to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.
In this role you will provide support in all areas of pharmacy practice, including dispensing, production, clinical and distribution activities, and other duties to support the team.
Ensure medications for hospital patients are safe and effective, and provided in a timely manner.

Requirements:
Our successful candidate will possess the following:
- To be eligible for grade 2, candidate must be able to demonstrate fulfilment of the criteria for grade 2 pharmacist in accordance with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award.
About you:
- You will practice according to the SHPA Standards of Practice and professional standards to promote safe and effective treatment to patients throughout all aspects of the medication management and safety pathway, including dispensing, manufacturing, and clinical pharmacy services.
- You will show initiative, collaborate with others and speak up when required with a goal to solve issues and to improve efficiencies and service.
Additional information:
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.
- This position is advertised as a Grade 1 or Grade 2 Pharmacist. An evaluation against the Award criteria for a Grade 2 Pharmacist will determine the grading of the successful applicant.
