About the Role:

Canberra Health Services (CHS) is looking for Pharmacists with Oncology & Haematology experience to join our remote team to deliver exceptional clinical pharmacy services. These roles will assist us in meeting the ever-increasing demand of a rapidly growing population. The Canberra Region Cancer Centre is a world-class health care facility that brings together cancer treatment and related services that are provided by Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Haematology, and Immunology. It provides multidisciplinary care and support services to Canberra and Southern NSW communities, including a Cancer Wellbeing Centre, known as Your Space, for wellbeing education and support for patients, families, and carers.

Pharmacists looking to Work from Home are strongly encouraged to apply (wherever home may be!) with flexible work hours also available. To work remotely, applicants will require reliable internet connectivity capable of supporting videoconferencing and to comply with the ACT Government home-based work factsheet which can be provided on request. Canberra Hospital Expansion Project - CHS is constructing a new Critical Services Building called 'Building 5' which is a 44,000sqm nine storey building specifically designed to deliver state-of-the-art acute clinical services at the Canberra Hospital. North Canberra Hospital - As of 3 July 2023 Calvary Public Hospital Bruce transitioned to CHS and became North Canberra Hospital. The transition will deliver a health system networked under one provider and will provide increased workforce opportunities for staff at both CHS sites. The ACT Government will be building a new northside hospital on the existing hospital campus in Bruce to meet the growing health care needs of our community, with construction to commence mid-decade providing more beds, increased services, and increased career opportunities.
