The role
As the Pharmacist, you will lead a dynamic team consisting of multiple Dispensary Assistants and Pharmacy Assistants plus Retail Manager and retail team. You'll be at the forefront of enhancing community health outcomes through a range of services, including full vaccination programs (flu, travel, COVID), counselling, dispensing, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficient and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
- Providing professional advice and counselling to customers
- Managing stock control and ensuring the dispensary is well-maintained
- Supervising and training pharmacy staff
- Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards
- Building strong relationships with customers and the local community
About You
- General registration with AHPRA as a pharmacist in Australia.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to provide comprehensive pharmacist services and manage a high script trade.
- Vaccination certificate; current
- UTI & Prescribing certificate; or willing to obtain
- You must live and be able to work in Australia to apply for this role.
Salary & Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of $50; negotiable on experience.
- Work hours align with store hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM; Saturday, 9 AM - 1 PM; and Sunday, 10 AM - 1 PM + public holidays
