About the Role

• The position delivers advanced professional and strategic leadership and delivery of clinical pharmacy services to stakeholders/consumers within the Surgical Pharmacy Services at the Princess Alexandra Hospital to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.
• Deliver advanced clinical and consultancy services to the following services: the surgical inpatient units, Day Surgery Transit Unit and other related services in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
• Provide specialised/advanced clinical advice and direction to a team of senior, rotational and intern pharmacists to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
• Develop, monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes for the pharmacists and or service through the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant data, key performance indicators and outcome measures.
