About youAs a Pharmacy Assistant/Senior Pharmacy Assistant, you will work as part of a small, friendly team ensuring customer service is delivered at the highest standard.
You have at least 2 years of experience in community pharmacy, or a health-related field.
You have strong leadership skills and a positive attitude. Your caring nature and genuine interest in healthcare will allow us to continue to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.
The roleYou will be required to:
- Ensure that all merchandising, promotional and retail activity is in line with Amcal+ protocols and standards.
- Work effectively in a small team.
- Participate in mandatory training where required.
- Support and train new/junior staff.
You will report directly to the pharmacist-in-charge.
Senior Pharmacy Assistants will be supporting the pharmacy management team with reporting and evaluation of KPIs, as well as leading retail staff improvement and development initiatives.

- Exceptional verbal (and written) communication.
- Experience using computer programs and POS systems (or can learn quickly).
- S2/S3 pharmacy training highly desirable.
- CPR/First Aid certification highly desirable.
