About the Role:
As the Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the retail operations at our pharmacy. Your primary goal will be to ensure the achievement of all financial KPIs, including profitability and sales targets. You will lead and mentor our dedicated team, manage inventory, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and professional health-related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the retail pharmacy business to achieve financial targets.
- Oversee the sale and advice of general medicines, front-of-shop products, and health-related services.
- Lead and train retail staff, including pharmacy assistants and trainees, to provide top-tier customer service.
- Ensure compliance with QCPP standards and maintain accreditation.
- Implement marketing and promotional activities to enhance visibility and sales.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and stock management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in a managerial or team leader role within a retail environment.
- Prior experience in the community pharmacy industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and motivate staff.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A customer-focused approach with the ability to provide professional health advice discreetly and respectfully.
