Pharmacy Technician

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
SITE OF SERVICE:

• Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor, WA
• Full Time Position

POSITION QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree: Certificate.
• Education: Graduate from a formal Pharmacy Technician program accredited by ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

• The American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP)
• A formal Pharmacy Technician program (i.e., technical, hospital, or retail-based program) A formal medical services training program of the United States Military.
• Certification: Possess and maintain a current certification and registration by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
• Additional Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) hands on certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience: A minimum of 12 months of full-time experience after completion of a Pharmacy Technician program.

HOURS:

• Services shall be provided Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 2000, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays between the hours of 0700 – 1800.
• Shifts will normally be scheduled for an 8.5 to 9 hour period, to include an uncompensated 30 to 60 minute lunch break, respectively.
• In no instance will the HCW be required to provide regular services in excess of 80 hours per two-week period.
