Photographer

The JRP Group, one of Australia’s leading photography companies is looking for a driven, professional photographer to join our team. The successful applicant must value excellence, have exceptional communication skills and a strong work ethic to join our team.

Specialising in photography for High School Formals, Social Events, Debutante Balls, Sporting Clubs, School Photos, Childcare and Kindergartens across Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, this position is to join our Adelaide branch. Other states need not apply.

The role can be a part time position or on casual basis throughout the year depending on the applicant. Those with video skills are also encouraged to apply.

Workload is seasonal with peak periods throughout the year. Our photographers must be enthusiastic, enjoy photographing and interacting with people, especially teenagers and young children in a high volume, fast paced dynamic environment. Full training will be provided.

For the successful applicant there will be administrative responsibilities inside of our digital content department throughout the year in post-production.

Skills and Requirements:

• You must demonstrate competence in Camera and Computer Operation, basic studio lighting and Speedlight use for event photography
• With a positive energy to build rapport, you will be an effective communicator
• With an eye for detail, you will value learning, consistency and self-improvement
• Being self-motivated, you will enjoy achieving great results
• Must have own vehicle, driver's licence and be comfortable travelling as far as regional South Australia.
• Experience working with children and teenagers is required.
• Be able to work well in a team
• Must be flexible and be available to work evenings
• Excellent photography skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional representation always
• Flexibility with work hours
• Experience in Photoshop & Lightroom.
• Must have the following in place or willing to obtain if successful
• A Working with Children’s Check
• Valid police check
• Catholic Working with Children check.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Must have experience as a professional photography, with a sound understanding of lighting, studio set up and the use of speedlight.
• Must have had customer service experience exposure in previous employment
• Must have had administrative responsibilities in previous employment
