Our client is a Prep to Year 12 co-educational, independent, Islamic, growing school, located on the southern outskirts of Brisbane in the suburb of Karawatha. The college aims to produce self-directed and proactive learners and citizens.
Responsibilities:
- Direct teaching of Physics to secondary students
- Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum programs
- Engage in reflective practice to enhance teaching effectiveness
- Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues on school-wide initiatives
Skills Required:
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- Qualified to teach primary education
- Knowledge of relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy integration
- Experience in planning and implementing effective teaching strategies
- Ability to monitor and assess student learning using data to inform practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
