Your role at St John of God Berwick Hospital
The Grade 1 Physiotherapist works alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical physiotherapy to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills.
Ensures practice is in accordance with Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines.
The Position
Provide high quality evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
Using patient-centred care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings.
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities.
Communicate effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication.
You will be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. With the ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
To succeed you will have current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) and experience in provision of Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments.

We can offer you
Salary: $66,798.42 to $92,356.45, plus 11% superannuation
A permanent full time position available, working 38 hours a fortnight
