Job Type: Permanent position, Full timePrimary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including evaluations of movement, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
2. Creating individualized treatment plans based on each patient's specific needs and goals, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, and hydrotherapy.
3. Administering hands-on treatments to relieve pain, restore mobility, and enhance function through methods such as massage, joint manipulation, and stretching exercises.
4. Educating patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies to aid in recovery and prevent future injuries.
5. Monitoring patients' progress throughout treatment, adjusting therapy plans as needed to optimize outcomes and achieve rehabilitation goals.
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and chiropractors, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
7. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment interventions, and progress reports in compliance with legal and professional standards.
8. Engaging in professional development activities, such as continuing education courses and workshops, to stay current with the latest advancements in physiotherapy practice and enhance clinical skills.To be considered for this role, the candidate must meet the following requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in physiotherapy.
2. Current registration with AHPRA and AHTA.
3. At least 3 years of experience as a practicing physiotherapist.
