AddressWe are a new team of physios in Clayton South aiming to provide quality injury care with a strong community focus. We are currently searching for a motivated physiotherapist to join our group.
We work with a range of musculoskeletal conditions in the community, but also have an interest in sports injury management. Each of our clinicians works closely with teams across volleyball, basketball and soccer. Our physios are passionate about sharing ideas and delivering outcomes through a combination of manual therapy and exercise programming. A successful candidate should be excited about the prospect of growing their skills and service within a team of ambitious, caring and fun-loving colleagues.
The role involves:
- One-on-one consultations ranging from 30-60 minutes
- A mixed case load of musculoskeletal, sports, work injuries and TAC
- Group exercise sessions in the form of mat-based classes or circuit style classes in a well-equipped gym space
- Correspondence with local referrers and supporting health services
- Participation in group learning and case discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy completed in Australia
- A current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a well rounded approach to patient care including clinical reasoning, assessment, manual therapy skills and injury rehabilitation
- Ability to work collaboratively within our team and with referrers
- Be motivated to pursue ongoing learning and expanding clinical skills
- Private practice experience would be highly regarded
