Opportunity exists for a motivated physiotherapist to join our team in Collie, Western Australia.

As part of this role you will be responsible for independently managing clients (assessment, diagnosis, planning and treatment), with the view to a full-time load of between 30-38 hours/week as set by you (with appropriate support when required). In addition you will be taking Clinical Pilates Classes and other exercise-based programs and communicating with any relevant parties (GPs, specialists, insurance companies, etc)l participating in activities to attract and retain our valued clients.
New graduates will be well supported through our 2-year Graduate Program that includes comprehensive Private Practice Induction training package including clinical and non-clinical aspects of Private Practice Physio. You will be mentored into how to interact with clients, deliver great consultations, win their trust and achieve awesome outcomes, how to retain clients and become the Physio everyone wants to see, learn when to book a client in and how often, navigating the Workers Compensation process, creating great client outcomes using technology such as Physitrack- the exercise prescription app, using real time ultrasound to assess muscle activation, how to effectively run a Clinical Pilates class and M.A.T training.
You will be assigned a buddy- someone who was recently a graduate, can be your support, sounding board, someone to ask questions, and help you be successful. You will receive fortnightly 2-hour clinical PD sessions with Senior Physiotherapists who have over 30 years? experience and a graduate client load. As part of the program you will also be able to attend and observe joint surgery with an Orthopaedic Surgeon and tour a mine site and ride on some pretty cool machinery to learn about the mining industry, demands on the workers bodies, and how injuries effect their work. This position provides a variety of experiences including musculoskeletal, sports injuries, exercise rehab, Clinical Pilates, and hydrotherapy. Opportunities also exist in paediatrics, Women?s health, and corporate health, cancer rehabilitation, cardiorespiratory as well as the opportunity to explore your areas of interest.
