About the role
The Rehabilitation Unit on the St John’s Campus is a Physiotherapist to join our great team of health professionals. The position is a casual position covering weekday and weekend shifts with also the opportunity to do some fixed term part-time work in July-August. There may also be opportunity to work in acute care at the Lenah Valley Calvary Campus.
The role will involve working as part of a multidisciplinary team in the assessment and treatment of patients with a variety of orthopaedic, neurological and medical conditions. A high level of professional integrity and previous experience in Rehabilitation is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and formulate, implement and review interventional plans for rehabilitation patients
- Keep up to date with current developments in physiotherapy and ensure these are reflected in service delivery through quality evaluation and outcome evidence
- Maintain comprehensive and reliable reporting procedures
- Comply with relevant Calvary WHS policies, procedures, work instructions and requests
About You:
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA
- High degree of professional integrity
- Demonstrated current skill and knowledge in the assessment, interpretation, implementation and evaluation of therapy plans for rehabilitation patients
- Well developed verbal and written communication skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
