Provide advanced clinical physiotherapy practise in the delivery of independent, evidence based, diagnosis, case management and physiotherapy for patients referred for Specialist Orthopaedic and Rheumatology opinion within West Moreton Health.

About the role
The Clinical Leader position provides an expert level of skill in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, who provides authoritative clinical counsel within the Orthopaedic Physiotherapy Screening Clinic (OPSC) and multidisciplinary service for the West Moreton Health (WHH) as well as the Rheumatology Physiotherapy-led Clinic; Integrated Musculoskeletal Assessment Clinic (IMAC).

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Advanced level knowledge, expertise, and skills in contemporary clinical practice standards in Physiotherapy.
- Provide clinical advice regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
- Ability to apply evidence-based principles to facilitate novel, complex physiotherapy and multidisciplinary clinical decisions.
- Lead change through quality and service improvement activities and provide clinical supervision of personnel.
- Demonstrated ability to enact the specified core role capabilities outlined within this role description within your practice.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16 (PDF) ( https://www.health.qld.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0009/150120/hed-0116.pdf )
- Possession of tertiary degree qualification in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) is a requirement for this role.
