Mater at Home is currently recruiting a Physiotherapist Clinical Lead position in a full-time and fixed term (12 months) opportunity, based at South Brisbane.
Reporting to the Associate Director - Allied Health Mater at Home this role is to provide line and operational management to the Mater at Home physiotherapy team. This will require providing leadership and supervision of resource, workflows and workloads. You will be integral to the clinical and operational leadership of Mater at Home and will be accountable for the team's contribution to Mater at Home's performance as an efficient, sustainable and high quality service
The role is expected to complete clinical duties within the incumbent's professional discipline with a high degree of independence, knowledge, skills, experience and provides Clinical Leadership for team members of the same profession.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver high level and independent clinical practice to members of the community in the Greater Brisbane area in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and clinical skills in exercising independent professional judgement in problem solving and clinical management of patients with acute or chronic health needs.
- Manage a complex caseload requiring identification and assessment of complex support needs of clients, patients, families and carers
- Demonstrate a high level of advocacy skills to address and coordinate patient/client needs.
- Provide high level stakeholder engagement with other health care and support agencies, care/support coordinators, facility operators and community and hospital health care providers.
- Provide all line management to members of the physiotherapy team, including rostering and human resource management (Kronos, Leave management).
Salary range: $60.01-$64.54 (Health Practitioner Level 4) per hour plus superannuation with access to salary packaging up to $15,900
About you
Essential
- Possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy;
- Hold current membership of relevant association and/or registration with AHPRA;
- Be eligible to receive a provider number through Medicare;
- Hold or be eligible to receive a current Blue Card;
- Hold a current open Queensland driver's licence
- Demonstrated experience leading a small team of professionals
