Femme Physiotherapy and Wellness is a physiotherapy practice located in Southport and we have recently opened inside a Fulltime Elite Dance school - Dynamite Studios in Upper Coomera, Gold Coast.
We provide physiotherapy services, health and wellness support to women throughout every life stage - from teenagers, pregnancy, postpartum to menopause. We also provide dance physiotherapy to dancers and gymnasts from 6 years old through to mid 30’s, seeing both amateur and professional dancers. With the dancers, management includes dance musculoskeletal injury management, flexibility, turnout, technique improvement and pre pointe assessments. Lastly, we also manage a variety of musculoskeletal injuries in the general population.
We differentiate ourselves from other clinics as we aspire to teach, educate and arm women and dancers with knowledge about their own bodies and creating proactive change for their future. We also hold educational workshops for Dance schools and Womens health.
We specialise in Women’s health and Dance physiotherapy, however additionally service all musculoskeletal physiotherapy concerns. We are looking for a physiotherapist who is looking to join this vision of ours.
We are looking for a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with experience in Dancers and/or Womens health, or a musculoskeletal physiotherapist who is interested in furthering their education in Dancers and/or Womens health.
The role and offerings:
- Part time role with potential to go into full time. Start off Part time hours, 2 days per week

Criteria:
- Degree in physiotherapy
- MSK private practice experience +1 year
- AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
- Current first aid/CPR qualification
- Working with Children check and/or Blue card necessary
- Ability to work in Australia as a physiotherapist
About you:
- Ability to work independently and autonomously. Self motivated in improving your own knowledge and health
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills to patients and referrals
- Strong Musculoskeletal Physio background
- Ideally have experience or interests in Dancers and Womens Health. If no experience, interest in learning to upskill in these niches
- Ability to build and maintain a strong caseload and referral list
