About the role
As exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 Physiotherapist (graduate or experienced) to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding Physiotherapy workforce at GV Health, in a rotational position.
We have opportunities for the following rotations:
- Surgical
- Medical
- Outpatients
- Respiratory
- ICU
- Subacute (Rehabilitation, GEM & Palliative Care)
- Community Rehabilitation
- Emergency Department
- Leave reliever
No matter what your Physiotherapy career goals may be, a hospital-based position in our public health service will equip you with the skills needed for a strong career start. Build confidence and gain experience under the supervision of senior Physiotherapists highly skilled in cardiothoracic, neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing services to the acute & subacute wards, and also the outpatient and community rehabilitation services. The rotational position also has future potential opportunities for experience in maternity, paediatric rehabilitation, hand therapy, Women’s health & Community Health.

To support you we provide
- Well supported professional development (PD) and study leave to help reach your learning and career goals
- Up to $1000 PD support after 6 months successful probation period
- Further $2000 PD support again at 12-15 months (for PD relevant to clinical practice at GV Health and subject to usual PD approval processes).
- Paid PD leave – up to 7 days annually, accumulative over 2 years, conference and/or study leave as per usual GV Health approval processes).
- Accommodation assistance for those who may be relocating to our area
- Intrastate up to $2,500 relocation incentives
- Interstate up to $5,000 relocation incentives
- Accommodation allowance up to $350/week for 10 weeks or accommodation provided in GV Health allied health unit for up to 10 weeks (dependent on availability and employee requirements)
