The Position
St John of God Ballarat Hospital is one of Victoria’s premier regional private hospitals providing an extensive range of health care services. With 196 beds, our dedicated team of medical specialists and experienced caregivers deliver compassionate care in a welcoming modern facility.
The hospital has exciting opportunities available fora Physiotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary allied health team.
As Grade 1 Physiotherapist you will work alongside the multi-disciplinary team to provide clinical occupational therapy services to clients/patients using evidence based clinical practice skills, ensuring practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and procedures.
A one year full time contract offering 76 hours per fortnight is on offer. You will be required to work Monday to Friday with weekend work once per month.
The successful candidate will have:
- A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- Experience in provision of Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
