An opportunity currently exists for a Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join the HIP team on a permanent basis. The Grade 3 Physiotherapist will provide and deliver high quality person-centred, goal-orientated, home and centre-based Community Rehabilitation within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The position may be required to work within any of the HIP programs across the HIP sites.DutiesProvide clinical leadership in maintaining an evidence and outcomes based serviceMaintain a clinical caseload in keeping with the needs of the serviceProvide supervision and co-ordination of physiotherapy studentsProvide supervision to Grade 2 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants as requiredLead service improvement initiatives relevant to the HIP Physiotherapy serviceProvide guidance, support, and supervision of physiotherapy staff within the HIP Community Rehabilitation programAssess and manage all assigned clients as appropriate, according to HIP and St. Vincent’s policies and procedures and relevant rehabilitation protocolsMaintain the appropriate standard of medical record keeping and data collection as per St. Vincent’s and HIP policiesYour ContributionBachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalentCurrent Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)Minimum of eight (8) years post-graduate experience in a relevant field of rehabilitation and or community based serviceDemonstrated highly developed clinical management skills as appropriate to Physiotherapy practiceDemonstrated highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills that incorporate excellent communicationDemonstrated commitment to service improvement and professional developmentWell-developed teaching and supervision skillsCurrent Victorian driver’s licenceWhat we offerA focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programsConfidential, solutions-focused employee counsellingA healthy work/life balance encouraged.Ability to join Fitness Passport - Your pass to an extensive choice of fitness facilitiesSalary Packaging – Increase your take home pay!Discounts and Promotions always available through our FoundationCulture of continuous improvementAbout the DepartmentThe Community Rehabilitation programs consist of the Community Rehabilitation Centres at Kew and Fairfield and the Rehabilitation in the Home team. The programs offer a supportive and dynamic team environment which focusses on patient-centred care.Community Rehabilitation form part of the SVHM Health Independence Programs (HIP) which also incorporate Complex care services and Specialist Outpatient clinics.Working at St Vincent’s
