About the role
Barwon Health’s Physiotherapy team are looking for an organised, dynamic and flexible team player with clinical knowledge, skills and experience across the spectrum of patients presenting to the General Medical wards with opportunity for involvement in the Oncology and RAPU units. You will provide evidence-based, informed, patient-centred physiotherapy care within a multi-disciplinary setting. Rotational Grade 1 Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and Undergraduate Students will require your leadership, teaching and supervisory expertise when they work in your area. Your own professional development will be valued with a supportive supervision structure where you will be supported to achieve your goals. An accrued day off will be provided each month. Weekend work (as part of a team roster) will form part of this role.
The Barwon Health Physiotherapy Department is a large department with a focus on achieving optimal patient outcomes through positive teamwork, staff development and best practice.

Essential: Clinical knowledge and experience in the General Medical Clinical area including interest in RAPU and oncology
Essential: Knowledge of the undergraduate clinical education requirements for Physiotherapy and experience in student supervision
Essential: Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Desirable: Current Victorian Motor Vehicle Driver's License
