Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Physiotherapist looking to join a highly experienced interdisciplinary Allied Health team? The Physiotherapy team are a passionate and friendly team who work collaboratively to provide excellence in patient care.
Knox Private Hospital has an opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to join our team covering shifts in orthopaedics, trauma and neurosurgery. Cinical supervision from Grade 3 Physiotherapist will be provided.

All supported by a newly expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit.

As a Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services to acute surgical inpatients including orthopaedics (trauma and elective joint replacements) and neurosurgery
- Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice
- Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people
- Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services
Essential criteria:
- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Acute hospital experience in acute orthopaedics desirable
- Excellent clinical practice skills in assessment and intervention.
- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
