About the Role

Monash Health has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a talented Senior Physiotherapist to share their skills in disability and help support youth to thrive. This unique role will afford a skilled Grade 3 Physiotherapist to join the Young Adults Transition Service (YATS), which is a part of the Specialist Clinics based at Kingston Centre, Cheltenham.

You will also be part of the wider Monash Health Physiotherapy service and leadership team, with access to all the benefits that offers including genuine career progression pathways, professional development and connection with a highly skilled and well networked team. About Us

The YATS multidisciplinary team provide a comprehensive service to adolescents and Young Adults with complex medical needs and/or developmental disabilities. They assist with the successful transition of clients from paediatric services to adult-oriented health care systems.  As a senior clinician Physiotherapist, you will provide specialised physiotherapy assessments through an in-depth understanding of the physical, functional, and mobility needs of a range of clients who have complex chronic neurological conditions. You will work with the YATS team to support your clients through their transition journey.

About You

In this highly respected, senior position you will bring: 

  • Experience with quality and/or research initiatives
  • Demonstrated commitment to best practice care
  • Enthusiasm, compassion and a collaborative approach to your work

This role would suit an established senior Physiotherapist or aspiring Grade 2 Physiotherapist with relevant disability or neurological experience. We will offer you guidance and support in your transition.

What you need:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
