Freedom Motors Australia is a private owned company that is the leading vehicle modifier for wheelchair accessibility in Australia.
We are looking for an experienced bright and hardworking individual to manage our inventory in a busy work environment. In this role, you will be required to perform regular inventory checks, and update electronic records ensuring consistent stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed.
- Maintain inventory control systems and practices.
- Coordinating the stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing.
- Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintaining and updating of inventory records.
- Receiving goods.
- Dispatching goods.
- Loading and unloading
- Manual handling.
- Manage allocation, product codes and bar codes.
- Data entry into dashboard and ongoing master data software.
To be successful for the role you must have:
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management practices
- Good analytical and logistical thinking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic.
- A strong team player.
- Good computer skills.
- A current forklift licence.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Purchasing experience highly regarded.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High standards of honesty, integrity and professionalism.
