The Role

We are currently seeking applications from experienced Physiotherapists to provide support at our Lady McCusker Home (LMH) facility. This role is offered on a permanent part time basis 30 hours per fortnight.

Week 1 & 2:  Monday and Thursday 0800- 1600

Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts/locations to be considered.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of Therapy Assistants, promoting a strong team culture
• Conduct physical, mobility and seating assessments in line with DAG on admission, scheduled review and a need basis
• Formulate and review short- and long-term goals for residents mobility
• Conduct falls risks assessments
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to document and implement effective person centred care
• Evaluate and review group and one on one interventions

About You

You will apply superior interpersonal skills, communicating with residents and their families, as well as team members to facilitate positive outcomes. 

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and current AHPRA registration
• Experience leading teams, motivating others and collaborating to achieve objectives
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
• Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
• NDIS Screen (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
• Evidence of Covid-19 and Flu (2024) Vaccinations
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical
