This includes service development and evaluation and advanced reasoning and clinical practice skills in the management of clients of a novel or complex nature.This position is responsible for the supervision, teaching and training of Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students.Where You'll Be WorkingFairfield hospital is located in one of NSW’s largest LGA’s and is a hub of diverse cultures, ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds. - Previous experience in coordination and implementation of Pulmonary Rehabilitation or similar programs.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge and clinical expertise in the areas of respiratory, general medical, surgical and neurological physiotherapy.
- Must possess a valid Australian Drivers Licence (excluding learner driver's licences). If not already in possession, a NSW Drivers Licence must be obtained within 3 months of appointment.
