THE ROLEMedical Receptionist / Administration Assistant – You will be the warm welcome as the Patient arrives. From checking patients in on arrival, to answering phones, processing payments, booking sleep studies and preparing patients for the next step of their medical journeys as well as general office duties.
ABOUT YOUPrevious reception /administrative experience is a must (at least 12 months) and Medical Reception experience desired. Impeccable attention to detail and service standards. We are a busy clinic with high volumes of incoming calls and emails to be answered.
You will be the first impression of our Clinic, friendly, hardworking, efficient, reliable and punctual. Always happy to help and learn new tasks to expand your growing medical knowledge.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Mondays - Friday work week (no weekends)
- Scheduling Patients
- Patient appointment reminders/confirmations
- Liaise with other medical facilities.
- Respond to incoming calls
- Patient billing and receipting
- General administration tasks and office duties
- Clean and sterilise medical equipment
- Administration experience (1 year+)
- Previous reception experience (1 year+)
- MS Office proficiency
- Experience with phone systems
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Medical Practice experience
- Exposure and understanding of medical terminology
- Genie experience or similar
- Diploma or Certification in Business Administration or Medical Administration
