We are seeking three passionate and qualified Physiotherapists to join our team and support the well-being of our students. The Physiotherapists will play a crucial role in providing specialized care and rehabilitation services to students with physical disabilities, injuries, or conditions. As a school-based physiotherapist you can influence a child's achievement, develop your paediatric skills and be supported by an incredible team. These positions are offered on a permanent full-time/part-time and temporary full-time/part-time basis for various temporary periods, unless otherwise determined.

Your role:
As the Physiotherapist, you will:
- Support children and students to access and fully participate in learning and experience success and wellbeing across all stages of learning, in an inclusive education system supported by reasonable adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet their needs.
- Apply your professional skills and knowledge in contemporary physiotherapy and collaborate with education teams within schools to deliver high quality physiotherapy services which address barriers to student learning and enhance educational outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Support students to achieve their potential using evidence-based contemporary physiotherapy knowledge and frameworks to assist schools to identify and make reasonable adjustments and implement inclusive teaching strategies.
- Collaborate and liaise to assess barriers to student learning and participation and develop and implement physiotherapy services across schools.
- Participate as an active member in education teams within schools to ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence-based contemporary physiotherapy services to enhance learning outcomes for students with disability.
- Develop and implement best-practice assessment, program planning, intervention and monitoring strategies for students with disability, in accordance with legislation, departmental policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Provide consultative physiotherapy services and resources to assist school leaders and staff, parents, and other professional peers to develop knowledge and skills to support students.
- Prepare written reports and maintain records related to the delivery of physiotherapy services as required by the department.
- Participate in service planning at a school level.
- This position works across various schools in a therapy team.
- Extensive induction, onboarding, professional supervision and clincal support provided.
