Heaven Costumes is a busy and exciting virtual and online store and warehouse based in Salisbury Plain SA. We ship our products throughout Australia and the world.
We are currently looking for an incredibly fast, accurate and careful person who also posesses a witty and bubbly personality and is a fast learner to fulfill a dual role as Pick Packer and Sales Assistant. Work will be varied and usually fast paced. The successful applicant will work within both our warehouse team and our sales team in our virtual walk-in store and warehouse in Salisbury Plain, SA.
The successful applicant needs to be able to work in sales online and in our virtual store face to face with our customers, and in our busy warehouse doing pick packing and various warehouse tasks. Therefore being able to follow instructions accurately and with very few errors, is extremely important. This part-time (minimum of 20 hours per week, including Saturdays 10am - 3pm) position is initially offered as a 6 month contract incuding a 3 month probationary period. It is essential to also be avaiable for full time hours during our busy seasons which are also ‘black out’ periods for ‘time off’. These periods are the all of August, October, with September and Novemer are also busy periods, though full time hours will not be compulsary during these 2 months.
Further contracts or extensions will be offered to the right person who impresses us with their skills, enthusiasm and loyalty.
Warehouse Duties:
- Pick orders several times per day as they come in.
- Carefully and quickly pack the orders according to our guidelines.
- Use our online shipping interface to weigh parcels and print shipping labels for eParcel and Startrack.
- Put away stock extremely carefully, using computers, scanners etc.
- Refold and repackage incoming stock as needed.
- Assist in shelf refilling.
- Assist shop staff by quickly finding products for customers who are present at our premises.
Sales Duties:
- Assist customers to find the costumes and accessories they are looking for on our website.
- Collect products from the warhouse.
- Show customers products they request to see.
- Use POS to process sales, refunds and exchanges
Additional Sales skills that will be viewed highly include:
- Experience in online customer service, such as emails, live chat, phone calls and taking phone orders. Often suited to people who have worked in call centres.
- Website admin particularly in Magento or Shopify.
- Listing products on eBay or on a website.
- Working with data via large spreadsheets.
- Admin and general office work.
- Social Media and / or work in marketing for eCommerce.
Minimum Essential Skills:
- Minimum 3 years retail sales experience.
- Previous POS experience.
- Highly skilled numeracy, spelling and grammar.
- A minimum of year 11 education.
- Strong skills in Maths is a must.
- Computer literate (previous ecommerce experience prefered)
- Sound computer skills are a must and the ability to learn our Inventory as well as other online systems.
More About you:
- Previuis Pick Packer and / or warehouse experience an advantage, however on the job training will be provided.
- Process work on a production line will also be considered.
- Excellent written and spoken English is a necessity.
