THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an experienced Pick Packer (with Forklift Licence) to join our team, full-time, in Wingfield, South Australia.
This position places a strong focus on being fast, flexible and frequent providing our customers with quality products and service.
Predominantly shifts are between the hours of 6.30am - 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Key competencies & responsibilities:
This manual ‘hands-on’ role includes, but is not limited to:
- Supporting and following directions of the warehouse manager;
- Following procedures to manually pull, pack, strap and wrap timber orders;
- Replenishment of pick faces;
- Loading, unloading, receiving, relocating & storing products, with accuracy; &
- Following warehouse traffic management plans;
- Ensuring Load optimisation;
- Ensuring safe and efficient storage of product;
- Complying with all company policies & legal requirements, including WH&S, ensuring ‘safety-first’;
- Liaise professionally & politely with stakeholders;
- Accurate attention to detail, of information & data; &
- Undertake additional duties as directed by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Min. 2 years pick pack experience;
- Current Forklift Licence with min. 2 years of operational experience;
- Possess a full understanding, & support chain of Responsibility & custody processes;
- Strong working knowledge of WH&S legislation;
- Previous experience loading trucks with products, highly regarded;
- Demonstrated attention to detail with effective written & verbal communication;
- Collaborative interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF Scanners, desirable;
- Familiarity with timber warehouse operations desirable; &
- Evidenced reliability and professionalism.
