The Wholesale Fruit Company is a family owned and family run business with over 35 years experience in the industry.
The Wholesale Fruit Company is located in the Brisbane Market at Rocklea and supply fruit and vegetable products to cafes, hospitals, hotels, aged care facilities, day care centres, catering companies, restaurants, private & public schools in the Brisbane CBD and Gold Coast area.
Our warehouse has been completely renovated - top to bottom with a mezzanine level office, temperature controlled picking area & cold room. Our modern fleet of delivery vehicles are all state-of-the-art, refrigerated, Mercedes Benz vans.

THE POSITION
The Wholesale Fruit Company require a mature & reliable picker, packer and delivery driver. The position is mainly a driver position, with small amounts of picking required.  Fruit & vegetable experience is not essential, but some experience would be good.
Early starts (around 3am - 4am) which means early finish time (around 10am - 12pm), Monday to Friday and two Saturday's a month.  40 hours worked per week on average over a month.  There is no finish time - you finish when you've completed your delivery run but always get paid 40 hours regardless of whether you've worked 30 hours or 40 hours.

Monday - 3am to 11am

Tuesday - 4am to 10.30am

Wednesday - 4am to 10.30am

Thursday - 3am to 11.00am

Friday - 3am to 11.00am

Every second Saturday - 3am to 9.30am

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be on time for work
- Pick, Pack & Deliver Fruit and Vegetables to Brisbane
- Look presentable to our customers
- Friendly and positive attitude with the ability to work in a team environment 
- Applicant needs to be physically fit, there is lifting involved in this position
- Keep delivery vehicles clean and presentable to customers

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Fruit and Vegetable experience (not essential - this can be taught)
- Good driving history (Australian Drivers Licence is essential)
- Forklift Licence (not essential - if the successful applicant is interested in this, we can pay for a forklift course to receive a Forklift Licence.
