Job description

Are you an experienced directional driller looking for a rewarding opportunity in Melbourne’s vibrant south-east region? We’re seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team.

🛠️ Position: Directional Driller

📍 Location: Melbourne South East

🔧 Responsibilities:

 Operate directional drilling equipment to bore underground paths for utilities installation.

 Execute drilling plans according to project specifications and safety guidelines.

 Monitor drilling operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure 

Conduct equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.

Collaborate with project managers and team members to achieve project objectives.

 Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

💡 Requirements:

Proven experience as a directional driller, preferably in the construction or utilities industry.

Proficiency in operating directional drilling equipment and related tools.

Strong understanding of drilling techniques and procedures.

 Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.

  Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications.

Skills also preferred:

  • B Class Asbestos Removal
  • HLTAID001 - First Aid
  • enAble Card
  • Current and Valid Victorian MR/HR Licence
  • Previous Pit and Pipe Installation experience an advantage

  • Sound written and verbal skills
  • Self Motivation and the ability to work within a team as well as autonomously
  • Have a strong commitment to safe work practices
