Full-time Pit and Pipe Worker

Job Summary:

As a Pit and Pipe Worker, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the construction of pits and trenches, as well as the laying and threading of pipes for the purpose of cable installation. You will work closely with a team to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects while adhering to industry standards and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform Pit and Pipe installation and maintenance activities in accordance with industry standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct trenching, cable laying, and Pipe threading tasks to facilitate the installation of telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
  • Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify any issues that arise during installations or repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Pit and Pipe work, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure installation processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's license (Truck license is not a must but can be obtained with our assistance).
