AddressBarto Gold is an Australian Gold explorer, developer, and producer who has been operating since 2009 and is focused on gold exploration and production in Western Australia. About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist OP, the role is responsible for assisting the Geology team with day-to-day tasks including ore spotting, sampling, and mark-ups. The role will allow you to manage and build relationships with a team of mining industry professionals who are committed to building a culture that is progressive and will grow with the company as it expands.
About you:
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Pit Technician or a Geology Graduate with some relevant experience working in a gold mining site. You will be highly motivated, reliable, with a strong sense of urgency to deliver results. An excellent work ethic coupled with a strong relationship service focus will be critical to your success in the team.
Your key duties will include:
- Complete ore markups in a timely manner
- Ensure ore blocks mined are supervised and clear instructions provided to operators
- Effectively complete sampling tasks
- Conduct data entry of sample data and complete lab submissions ensuring consignment notes are timely and accurate
- Complete project work as directed by the Geology team
- Willingness to work underground if needed
