Job Description:Wood is recruiting for a
E&I Technician Commissioning (
Oil & Gas) to join our team in Perth, WA. Initially, this is a local position Seconded to one of our key clients and will move to a roster position thereafter. Start date mid-June.Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers engineering & brownfield modifications, operations & maintenance, procurement, construction, asset management and optimization, and technical services to the
Oil & Gas sector - with long-term partnerships supporting the region's most prominent producers located in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, and South-East Asia.You will be reporting directly to the Construction & Commissioning Manager. To be successful in your role, you will have prior commissioning experience in the Offshore LNG,
Oil & Gas sectors within an EPCM engineering environment with both onshore and offshore scope of work engagements.
Responsibilities:Your scope and responsibilities will be:
- Creating access workpacks
- Input into construction feasibility studies for the project
- Chairing constructability reviews
- Providing inputs into schedule and estimates
- Coordinating with personnel offshore

Qualifications:Only candidates with full work rights for the Australian location will be considered.Suitably qualified in Engineering from a recognized institution, ideally you will have a trade background in Electrical and Instrumentation although a tertiary qualification will also be considered along with 7+ years field experience within the
Oil & Gas industry.
- Valid WA Electrical License
- Cert III or IV Instrumentation
- Current LVR/CPR
- Current TBOSIET or BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS
- MSIC
- Hazardous Areas (either EEHA or full Cert IV)
- Valid OGUK Medical or have the ability to pass an OGUK Medical
