We are seeking a Place Strategist with a background in urban planning, urban design, placemaking, architecture or urban geography to join our Place Strategy team. You’ll bring strong research skills, with the ability to synthesise information and establish key insights that can inform our place strategies.
Day-to-day you’ll be developing case studies, reports and presentations, as well as supporting client workshops and meetings. Requirements
- A degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Geography, or proven experience as a Place Strategist or similar at a consultancy, planning or agency environment.
- Innovative mindset and proactive approach.
- Ability to review and synthesise background information, undertake research, and develop insights to inform strategies.
- Experience in report writing and the ability to articulate ideas and strategy in simple terms.
- Experience or an enthusiasm for stakeholder engagement, including preparation of presentation material, supporting facilitation and collating engagement outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to self-motivate, manage time, and deliver to timeframes.
- Experience working with Indesign and/or Keynote would be advantageous.
