Council’s Facilities & Assets Branch is recruiting for the position of Planned Maintenance Officer – R2480
Position Objectives
The officer will be responsible for:
- Supporting Council’s Building Asset Strategies through technical maintenance planning and implementation of identified works plans.
- Assisting in maintenance planning and scheduling processes to optimise the use of a contractor based workforce, improving efficiencies and reliability of building assets while adhering to regulatory responsibilities.
- Providing support with planned inspections of Council assets and facilities to provided information and data for the effect management of compliance, maintenance planning, essential safety measures, condition rating, serviceability, asset lifecycle modeling, asset management plans, property quality standards and functionality.
Qualifications and Experience
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- A minimum certificate IV qualification in building, facility management, project management, essential safety measures or construction related discipline or substantial experience in a related field.
- Knowledge and / or experience in building maintenance, programmed maintenance, essential safety measures and inspection services.
- Knowledge and / or experience in asset management systems, data collection and database management and / or CAD systems.
- High level customer service skills and experience
- Experience in working to timeframes and reporting requirements.
- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one.
- Current Drivers Licence.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within Band 5 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $75,461 to $86,603 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
