Reporting to the Asset Manager in this crucial senior role you will be accountable to manage APO's maintenance and Engineering services and support establish and execute the long-term Asset Management strategy for the Abbot Point Port Terminal in accordance with our contractual and statutory obligations, and business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Planning & Engineering Team to deliver agreed annual plans.
- Develop, maintain and implement Training and Development plans for all team members
- Through application of authorised systems, symbols and leadership behaviour, deliver on the Department's plan to shape the desired APO culture, in particular the development of an interdependent safety culture
- Lead by example and role model the standards and behaviour expected from our employees and contractors
- Manage maintenance Planning and scheduling services, including coordination of annual outage schedule
- Manage site engineering services - Electrical, Mechanical and Reliability
- Custodian of the Maintenance Work Management system
- Custodian of APO's engineering standards & technical drawings and documentation
- Maintain SAP maintenance module.
You will have the following demonstrated experience and qualifications:
- Tertiary degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Demonstrated reliability or mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in reliability (preferred)
- Experience in reliability maintenance programs will be beneficial.
- Proficiency in SAP maintenance components preferable
- In depth knowledge and experience working within a fixed plant environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
