SalaryOur Electronics Manufacturing operation at Cameron Park (Newcastle NSW) is seeking a practical and service-orientated Planning Assistant to be part our planning team in response to our business growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will be responsible for creating and managing our manufacturing schedules. Whilst considering all equipment, labour and material constraints you will be looking to maximise production throughput with an emphasis on reducing production lead-times.
YOU'LL NEED THESE TO SUCCEED
Your willingness to gets hands on in a technical manufacturing environment will be complemented by the following:
- Experience in the use of Resource Planning (MRP/ERP) systems
- High level computer skills and competent in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques is advantageous
- APICS certification would be advantageous
- Certificate in Purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
