Our Facilities Management team is currently on the lookout for an Asset Strategy Manager, a pivotal role designed to catapult our asset management strategies into the future. Reporting directly to the Senior Asset Manager, this position is integral to maintaining the seamless, safe, and secure operations that our passengers and partners expect and rely on.

About the Role

As our Asset Strategy Manager, you will support a data-driven asset management approach, ensuring the optimum performance and strategic deployment of our critical assets and infrastructure. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of asset strategies, condition assessments, lifecycle plans, and financial management frameworks across Sydney Airport.

What You Will Do

• Develop high-quality, strategic capex project recommendations, aligning with our Asset Management Framework.
• Support with asset renewal strategies, engaging with FM asset owners to translate these plans into tangible outcomes.
• Conduct ongoing performance reviews of assets to gauge the success of capex initiatives, ensuring they meet targeted metrics.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams to ensure projects align with business metrics, managing risks and opportunities proactively.
• Support key strategic priorities and budgets within the Facilities Management team, driving improvements and initiatives that enhance customer and stakeholder experiences.

Who We're Looking For

• A dynamic individual with a background in engineering, asset, or property management.
• Ability to translate technical information into written commercial business cases. 
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric organisation, managing a complex stakeholder environment.
• Expertise in end-to-end data management of asset portfolios, including project management, financial planning, and risk management.
• A commercial mindset, capable of strategic thinking while handling operational delivery.
• Strong financial acumen, resilience, and the ability to draw meaningful insights from data to inform strategic decisions.
