Urban Taskforce is the peak property development industry association and represents Australia's most prominent property developers and equity financiers. We provide a forum for people involved in the development and planning of the urban environments to engage in constructive dialogue with all levels of government and the community.
Role Description
We are looking for an individual with experience and qualifications in planning or land economics, who has strong research, analytical and writing skills. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic office environment where responsibilities involve research in policy, government liaison, media engagement, and collaboration with our members. You will also have the opportunity to engage with our members and others in the industry at the various events organised throughout the year.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Planning, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field
- Experience in research, analysis, and report writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience in engaging with stakeholders and building relationships
- Knowledge of urban development, planning, land use policies, and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, research databases, and statistical software
- Understanding of sustainability, environmental and social issues and policies
- Ability to adhere to high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality
This role can be Full Time or Part Time, there is flexibility with this.
