Plant Electrician

An integral member of the maintenance team, as a Plant Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical plant, machinery and infrastructure operated by Boortmalt is serviced and maintained to deliver optimal operational reliability, performance and safety. Your activity will include:

• Plant maintenance activity ensuring reliable electrical service and maintenance of plant and equipment without compromising production quality or quantity;
• Adhering to work and safety instruction by taking an active role in contributing to building a safety culture;
• Working cooperatively within the company, taking personal accountability for creating and supporting a team environment where trust and respect is integral;
• Adhering to work and safety instruction and take an active role in contributing to building a safety culture;
• Adhering to processes and procedures, and directions in relation to food safety and quality management;
• Reporting to the maintenance manager stock level of critical spares and keeping up to date worksheets and records.

Highly adaptable and with strong communication skills, you will bring with you:

• Electrical "A" Grade License
• Electrical Trade Certificate (Fitter/Mechanic) (desirable)
• Process Control/Instrumentation/PLC qualification and experience
• Confined Space Entry
• Forklift License
• Elevated Work Platform License
• Computer skills
• An ability to be on call as necessary.
