Your new role in Hume awaits

As a Plant Mechanic you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery, always ensuring exceptional customer service and a high standard of safety.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment
  • Maintaining up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
  • Minimise operational downtime of equipment
  • Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture – champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
     
  • In addition to effective time management, attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety you will also need to have:

    • Relevant trade qualification
    • Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills
    • Experience with petrol and diesel motors and hydraulics pneumatics
    • A forklift ticket (highly regarded but not essential)
    • Exposure to electrical fault finding highly regarded but not essential
