Your new role in Hume awaits
As a Plant Mechanic you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery, always ensuring exceptional customer service and a high standard of safety.
You will also be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment
- Maintaining up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
- Minimise operational downtime of equipment
- Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture – champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
- Relevant trade qualification
- Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills
- Experience with petrol and diesel motors and hydraulics pneumatics
- A forklift ticket (highly regarded but not essential)
- Exposure to electrical fault finding highly regarded but not essential
- Flexible shift start times, 7am - 3pm or, 9am - 5pm.
