Your role

Reporting to the Site Manager, we are currently searching for two Plant Operators in Full time Permanent roles to join our Bitumen manufacturing operations team based at our Dandenong site. We are looking for dedicated, hardworking go-getter professionals with a positive attitude to contribute to the safe and efficient day to day operations of the site.

Your responsibilities

• Manufacture and store Bitumen products and materials
• Maintaining a clean and tidy workplace to effectively manage hazards
• Working strictly to approved processes and procedures
• Assist with safety investigations, raise incidents, and ensure corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Maintain and improve housekeeping standards
• Report and investigate plant performance and operational problems
• Forklift operation

Your skills & experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing, continuous or batch chemical process plant is highly regarded
• Attention to detail, safety focussed mindset
• Knowledge of SHEQ standards and statutory regulations within manufacturing
• Forklift license with relevant experience
• Proficient in computer use such as Microsoft Office, along with literacy and numeracy

The right candidate will gain the opportunity to train and work part time into Lab Technician role within the operations team
