ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYOur SOLVE site in Altona treats contaminated soil and other prescribed industry wastes through multiple on-site processes. Contributing to our success are the team of mobile plant Operators who receive and prepare these materials for processing in our Thermal pant. We are seeking a full-time Plant Operator – Level 1 to join our team at SOLVE - Altona.
We are looking for a motivated and committed individual who wishes to join our team. This entry level role is diverse and challenging, in providing essential support to our operations team. It would suit an individual who has obtained their machine operating tickets and wants to develop their operational skills. In time, with the appropriate mentoring and training you will become an experienced machine and/or Plant Operator whose versatility will provide a rewarding career.
ABOUT YOU- Strong commitment to safety and ability to work by procedures.
- Have a current high risk forklift license.
- Ideally be qualified as a multi-skilled operator with Excavator, bobcat and loader tickets.
- Experience in labouring and physical, hands on work.
- Willingness to wear personal protective equipment including respirator, gloves, Tyvek suit, gumboots as required to offer mandatory protection.
- Eager to undertake training and additional duties as required.
