About the Role:
We are currently seeking a multi skilled Plant Operator (Front-End Loader OR Excavator) who will be responsible for the sorting of waste materials, loading of trucks with recycled material and assisting to push up incoming material. This position is also responsible for the feeding of raw material into the recycling plant and emptying material from bays, additionally stock piling, ripping, loading trucks and preparation for material processing, to ensuring that the plant continues to run efficiently to meet production targets.
Role Responsibilities:
Front End Loader:
- Sorting of various waste materials for recycling based on size & type of material.
- Loading various products on to trucks.
- Assist feed loader with pushing up incoming material.
- Feeding raw material in the recycling plant.
- Emptying material from bays.
- Assist in the isolation of hazardous materials.
- Conduct pre-start inspection; and
- Park up and shut down equipment.
- General Maintenance & Cleaning
- Safety Focus
Excavator:
- Stock piling.
- Digging holes and trenches.
- Preparation and sorting of materials for processing.
- Loading of trucks; and
- Drainage work.
- General Maintenance & Cleaning
