A well established company in the Sand Extraction and Processing industry is seeking to employ a Sales Loader Operator to work within their experienced and close knit team in the Bass Coast area.
The Company operates multiple Sand Quarries and a new “state of the art” sand processing facility, all in close proximity to each other.
We have a permanent, full time opportunity for a dedicated operator to join our team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Quarry mobile equipment.
Key Duties
- Safe operation of front-end loader and other mobile plant as required (Water cart, Articulated dump truck)
- Using loader scales to load Heavy vehicles A double - B double
- Complete daily paperwork, (Sales logs, Prestart Checklists)
- Participation in safety initiatives including toolbox meetings and incident reporting
- Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement activities
About you
- Experienced in Sales Loader and using scales preferred
- HR truck licence is advantageous but not essential
- Quarry experience highly regarded
- Ability to complete daily paperwork
- Self motivated with a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- Availability to work from Monday to Friday, day and afternoon shifts including rostered Saturdays and overtime as required
- Friendly disposition, as a Sales operator you are the front line representative for Sand Supplies
