Experienced Horticulturalist for casual role with National Not-for-Profit.
Your new company
Our client is a national not-for-profit dedicated to restoring Australia’s landscapes, locally and regionally. As the weather starts to cool down enough to plant, they’ll be seeking experienced horticulturalists or landscapers for this year’s revegetation season.
Your new role
You’ll be part of a small team heading out on different projects daily. Your role will include the planting and care of new natives, brush cutting, seed collection, maintenance of tools and equipment, hand-weeding and supervised spraying. This is a casual role, typically offering 3–4 days of work.
If you are interested, but less experienced, please apply anyway, as they will have room for unqualified, but interested workers too.
What you'll need to succeed
- Driver’s licence and reliable car
- 4WD experience
- Workzone Traffic Management Ticket
- Chainsaw certificate of competency (TAFE Level 2 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of plant and pest identification
- Knowledge of seed collection and cleaning techniques
If you're interested, click "apply" now and forward us an up-to-date CV.
