Plasterer/Painter - Aizer Property Services

Zweck is an internal Group Services division that partners with Aizer Group. We are recruiting a Carpenter for our partner Aizer Property Services, to join our team in the property refurbishment division, working across the Brisbane region.

About the Role

Reporting into the Site Supervisor, this role will join the trades team to support and provide Plastering and Paintingservices across a large range of small to medium sized refurbishment projects to be delivered at the highest standard at a trade qualified level. You will be responsible for performing all minor refurbishment works, and maintenance jobs, assisting with the completion of Plastering and Painting projects as required. 

About You

The successful applicant will be a trade qualified Plasterer or Painter with experience, who possesses a strong customer service mentality, be driven, flexible and passionate. They will also have the following skills and experience:

• The ability to work autonomously with exceptional time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude; and
• Be a role model by demonstrating behaviour that is consistent with our company values.
• Identify and participate in improvement initiatives that will enhance the profitability, growth and sustainability of the company.

To be successful in this role you will also have:

• Trade Qualification and relevant licencing
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Plasterer with some Painter skills
• Sound knowledge of regulations, by-laws and building codes
• Blue Card, or willing to get one
• Working at heights ticket
• EWP ticket or willing to get one
• Able to work autonomously
• A positive attitude, personal drive, and performance focus.
• Must be able to provide own hand tools
• Be reliable, fit and ready to start immediately
